Rodents can be a major nuisance for a homeowner, not just because of the damage they do, but also because they spread disease and they tend to get into your food. What can you do to keep them at bay? If you live in an area where rodents are a problem, you need to be attentive to any signs that they have made it into your home. You might be able to spot holes or cracks they might use as entry points. By covering up and sealing holes and cracks, you can deny them entry.
If you see a collection of shredded material, such as newspaper, cloth or cardboard, that is usually a sign that you have rodents building a nest somewhere. You should also be alert to musty smells which can indicate that there are rodents living in an area, usually one that is dark and secluded.
