When it comes to warm water, we are pretty spoiled here in the US. Most homes have a hot water heater installed, and it provides hot water to the whole home.
One thing to consider, however, is that old fashioned, tank based water heaters, are not the most efficient appliances.
A lot of energy is wasted keeping water warm that is not being used, and this is the case for much of the day when everyone is out of the house. You also have it heating up water when you go on vacation, for no good reason.
Instead, you could install a tankless water heater. These can be installed right at the faucet, and they turn on the second you open the hot water. This is a lot more energy efficient, and, in addition, the time it takes the water to travel from your tankless water heater to your sink is faster. You are also less likely to run out of water with one of these than a traditional water heater.
