As you’re walking out of your house going towards your car, getting ready for work, your nose instantly becomes filled with the scent….. The smell of skunk. The smell is so nauseating that it makes you want to get sick right there and then. What are you going to do in order to defend against this spraying pest?
Keep garbage at a minimum. Skunks come around looking for food, so by keeping garbage at a minimum, you reduce the chances of skunks even coming around in the first place looking for scraps. even bringing your dogs or cats even bringing your dogs or cats inside from outside at night, can reduce the aggravating effects they can have on skunks, that’s reducing the chances of the skunk spraying.
another thing that you can do is to call Pest Control. They will come find the skunk, and then bring it relocated to another spot that is far away from civilization. Or you can buy I Heart Traps, which one baited with cantaloupe or watermelon, can easily trap a skunk which will allow you to relocate yourself. However if not relocated properly, the skunk will return.
keeping these things in mind will allow you to keep the spring effect of the skunk to a minimum, and allow you to enjoy a fresh walk to your car in the morning without tantalizing smell.
